The Member of Parliament for Lower Manya Krobo, Hon Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi has appealed to the government to consider extending the Road project from Oyibi-Dodowa-Somanya to Akuse junction to the Akuse main road to help economic revitalization.

Road, Accra Outer Ring Road, Asutuare Junction-Volivo Bridge, Eastern Corridor Road, thus, Gbintiri-Kulungugu, Sawla-Wa Road and Construction of 5No. Interchanges in the Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area which includes Suame, Santasi and Airport Roundabouts.
“Mr Speaker, for road safety, Government, in 2022, will increase and maintain traffic signals. In addition, road safety hazard sites are also expected to be treated. This will be complemented with aggressive public education and enforcement of traffic regulations,” the Finance Minister added.
But Hon Terlabi said, the current state of the road from Akuse junction to Akuse is is worse and appealed for an extension of the Major road project to cover the Akuse main road to boost economy and others.
He said though several appeals have been made over some time now, central government through the urban road department of the Ministry of Roads and Highways, nothing has been done on the road.
