MP for Wa East Partners Direct Aid Ghana to provide Potable Water for Constituents

As part of his social intervention policies to address the pressing needs of the Constituents, the Member of Parliament for Wa East, Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw has drilled three boreholes for three separate communities within the constituency.

The Project was executed in collaboration with Direct Aid Ghana, a Non-Governmental Organisation to address water supply challenges in the communities.

Water the MP said is live and he would l do everything humanely possible to get portable water for his constituents.

According to the MP, the beneficiary communities have been without water for years and during his campaign for the 2020 general elections, he pledged to provide for them should he win.

The MP has been partnering and attracting other organisations, both local and international to help construct a number of boreholes across the Wa East Constituency.

Direct Aid is one of the non-government organisations that has agreed to help the MP achieve his water for all projects.

The office of the MPsuccessfully drilled several boreholes IN THE Constituency level.

DRILLING OF BOREHOLE

 Beneficiary communities include Yayuoyiri, Katua and Kpalworgu.

The residents were full of praise for the gesture done to them by the MP especially, in the dry season and pray to God to give the MP the strength to attract more of such organisations into the constituency.

Before assuming office as Member of Parliament, Dr Seidu Jasaw had initiated this water for all projects with the construction of a number of boreholes and repair of broken ones across the constituency.

The MP pledged to extend similar developmental projects to other communities that face water problems.
