Hon Della Sowah Writes: Are Politicians Liars?
We have come to the end of the first session of the 8th Parliament.
The session started with a fight and interestingly it ended with a fight.
LYING POLITICIANS
In the past, I used to get upset when people say politicians are liars. But listening to the Majority leader in this first session, I can now understand them.
He started the session with a lie. He said the Speaker was not elected. He ended the session with a lie that the 1st Deputy Speaker called in the 2nd Deputy Speaker on the faithful Monday not because he intended to vote but to take medication. Eeiii.
The man himself said he had a right to vote and intended to do just that.
Who was lying?
So when people say politicians are liars don’t blame them, they are perhaps looking at people like Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu.
On this note, I thank all my supporters for standing with me. You made all the fights interesting.
You gave me a reason to be in Parliament every day come rain or shine.
Let’s keep fighting against the E levy together.
We shall succeed.,
