MP for Sene west empowers youth with skill training machines

The member of parliament for Sene west constituency in the Bono East Region Hon Kwame Ampofo Twumasi has donated to a number of constituents 50 sewing machines, 33 hair dryers, three Tricycles, three set of Jersey and footballs.

Hon Twumasi Ampofo gave out these working equipments during his maiden launch of MP’s Youth empowerment program at the Presbyterian Basic school in Kwame Danso, the District capital.

According to the NDC mp, his objective to help reduce the unemployment situation in the constituency by assisting youth who may have learnt some job but lack the equipment and machinery to start their own business to make a living.

He disclosed that, after a research by his team, they realized that, a number of the Youth in the constituency have gone through Apprenticeship but do not have the capital to start a business making it necessary for him to give them assistance.

Hon Ampofo lamented that, upon his good works, some section of people still go round and destroy his name that, he has not bring development to his people.
