The Member of Parliament for Madina, Hon Francis Xavier Sosu, has dismissed media reports that his comments on social media handle, Twitters, on the Dormaahene is a show of him taking sides on the ongoing war of words between the Asantehene,Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Dormaahene.

There have been media misreporting that the MP has taken side in the feud and is celebrating the Dormaahene to wit “Truth and Honesty, The next generation will celebrate you. His Royal Majesty with the people at heart. This is life of impact and influence,” the Madina lawmaker twitted.

However, when the MP attention was drawn to the cold feuding Chiefs and that his comments could further degenerate into political issues, Francis Sosu quickly pulled down the Tweet and explained.

According to him, he was totally unaware that the two revered Chiefs are at loggerheads over historical national issues, hence the decision to pull down a comment made on the Twitter handle.

“I haven’t changed my mind. My attention was drawn to some feud between the His Royal Majesty the Asantehene and the Dormaahene that was why I pulled it down. I revere them both and their Leadership as Traditional Rulers. My post was not in any way to take sides in their “cold war|”, Hon Sosu explained to his followers who questioned his boldness in stating national issues.

He, therefore, debunked the malicious propaganda by faceless persons in their attempt to incite hatred against the two chiefs and their immediate subjects in the country.

The MP however urged members of the general public to disregard any comments or publication attributing to him in any form taking sides in the feud between the Asantehene and the Dormaahene.
