Gt Accra NDC Women congratulates Ghanaian Women on International Women’s Day
On behalf of the Greater Accra Regional Women’s Wing of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, and on my own behalf, I wish to congratulate women in Ghana and all over the world on the occasion of the International Women’s Day celebration 2022.
The day is celebrated for all women around the world to recognize them with a sense of honour, dignity and self respect for their contribution to society, as well as, mark the celebration of their economic, social, cultural and political achievements.
The Greater Accra Regional NDC Women views today as the right occasion to celebrate Ghanaian women as symbols of care, love and sacrifice, in view of their invaluable role in attainment of the country’s socio-economic and political development aspirations.

Although women are facing challenges, it is hoped that these challenges would not demoralize us, but rather, motivate us to greater heights in society.
As we join women all over the world to observe this special day, the Greater Accra NDC Women would like to use the occasion to encourage women to imbibe the can do spirit and have the confidence that they have what it takes to complement men in achieving the country’s development goals.
As we celebrate this international Day, we want to remind the government for its role in promoting the interest of women in the country.
Once again, we say ayekoo to Ghanaian women.
Signed
Madam Felicia Bortey
Greater Accra Regional Womens’ Organizer, NDC
