Ghanaian media personality, Princess Arita Anim has received her recent experience for participation in this year’s Annual General Meetings of the African Development Bank Group.

Sharing pictures from the event on the opening day, below is what she wrote on Facebook.

“Ghana host the African Development Bank Group’s Annual Meetings #AFDBAM2022 from 23-27 May in its capital, Accra. This year’s meetings mark a return to in-person sessions following virtual meetings over the last two years.”

She continued by saying “I am so glad to be a part of #AFDBAM2022 communication and media crew to document this historic event. Yesterday was the opening day which saw heads of state from Africa and diplomats around the world. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo officially opened the meeting. African Development Bank Group is on the move, ready to make Africa count! “

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo officially opened the African Development Bank’s Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 24 2022 in Ghana, where he extols the Bank for dynamic contributions to Africa’s development.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ghanaian president Nana Dankwa Akufo-Addo spoke of the continent’s ongoing fiscal and socioeconomic challenges and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the importance of the African Development Bank to the continent’s development goals amongst others.

Princess was part of two other African journalists- Jan Willem Bornman, Writer at New Frame in South Africa, and Joseph Aketema who wrote, recorded and interviewed the various prominent personalities in attendance together with a large number of team to document this year’s activities for the African Development Bank Group.
