Kpando NDC Boils over Influx of Unknown people to Constituency Register

All is not well within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Kpando Constituency of the Volta Region as over 17 Branch Chairmen have petitioned the Constituency executives over what they claimed is an influx of unknown persons trooping in to get their names into the NDC register.

According to the petitioners, the alleged known persons were transported into the constituency by the Regional Chairman and his organizer, camped in a Hotel and fed thrice a day to execute their hiding agenda of bloating the NDC Register for a reason best known to them.

A copy of the petition dated June 24, 2022, and sighted by EXPRESSNEWSGHANA, indicated that the action taken by the Regional leadership not only undermine their work as Branch executive Chairmen but would have consequential effects on the party at the grassroots level.

Some of the branch executives also accused the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) Hon Della Sowah as the brain behind the regional executives.

But when EXPRESS NEWSGHANA contacted the MP via phone, she denied the allegation and said she was not even in the country at the time the early registration of party members took place.

According to her, she does not mingle with party grassroots executives who work as MP and that she would be the last person in the constituency to violate the party structures.
