Special Prosecutor chases GRA Customs Division over Auction Vehicles
The Office of the Special Prosecutor is embarking on a long chase probe into the activities of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), especially auction vehicles since the year 2016
A press statement signed by the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng claimed the office is investigating corruption and related activities in the auction of state vehicles by the Customs Division of the GRA.
The statement noted that the OSP has since directed the Customs Division of the GRA to produce documents covering auctions of state vehicles from July 2016 today.
The OSP also ordered the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority to stop all auctions until the probe is done.
