Investors Confidence in Ghana Economy completely Eroded- Hon Ablakwa Laments
Ghana’s international donor partners are fast losing confidence in the current Akufo-Addo/Bawumia leadership, Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has said.
According to him, the massive corruption and acute lack of accountability which has resulted in the World Bank issuing an unprecedented threat to seek legal remedies as contained in the now viral October 21, 2022 warning signed by World Bank Country Director, Pierre Laporte and addressed to embattled Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta in the infamous GALOP heist should not be seen as an isolated case is evidence.
He said Data from the 2021 Annual Report of the Controller and Accountant-General reveals just how much Ghana’s development partners have lost confidence in the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government and particularly in disastrous Ken Ofori-Atta.
“The Annual Report confirms that Total Grants have plummeted sharply from GHS4.21billion in 2020 to GHS1.23billion in 2021,” he said in a write up circulating in social media sighted by EXPRESSNEWSGHANA.

Below is portions of his Write Up
“This apparent vote of no confidence by the international community translates into a troubling 75% below government’s own target of GHS5.03billion as contained in the 2021 Budget which was based on expected donor pledges.
“From all indications, the trend will get worse if Ken remains at post and if President Akufo-Addo doesn’t begin to get a grip on the corruption canker.
“Apart from President Akufo-Addo’s nepotistic believe that disastrous Ken is doing an excellent job, the vast majority of Ghanaians including NPP MPs and NPP supporters, and now the international community are all ad idem — Ken Must Go!”,he said with a hustage KenMust Go.
