Papaye opens Branch at Adenta Frafraha

Papaye Fast Foods Company Limited has opened its 9th branch at Frafraha in the Greater Accra Region bringing to a staff strength of over 600 workforce with other branches in Osu, Tesano, Apenkwa, Abeka Lapaz, Spintex, Tema, Awudome, Haatso and Kasoa.

Speaking at the grand opening, the Executive Chairman of Papaye Fast Foods Company, Dr. Samir Kalmoni said the management have fulfilled the increased concern among the people of Adenta, Frafraha, Amranhia, Oyibi, Dodowa and its environs to have a fair share of the Papaye fast food.

According to him, a lot of preparation went into the project and commended the technical team and management for the hard work that led to the realisation of the Frafraha branch and pointed out that the restaurant demonstrated its corporate responsibility by employing 60 percent of the workforce from the community and its catchment areas.

“Staffs from all working endeavour of Papaye are part of the Papaye family and urged all to work with passion to keep the restaurant as the leader in the fast food value chain”, he said and expressed his gratitude to the media for the continuous support to the company.

The Managing Director of Papaye, Mr. Divine Asiedu said Papaye have exhibited good Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the past 30 years of operation and have in place sound health and safety measures and policies that have helped drive the restaurant to be a torch bearer in the fast food sector.

“Papaye was awarded best restaurant in a series of years by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) and adjudged also the best organisation for implementing 1% tourism tax and have further been acknowledged as a member of the prestigious Ghana Club 100”, he said.

Mr. Divine Asiedu urged organisations to practise the culture of team work and explained that team work have led to the success of many institutions of which Papaye is no exception, adding that “this makes the restaurant to have a competitive edge over other fast food restaurants in the country.

He however advised the employees to work hard and stay focused in the working space as well as give out their best performance and was quick to remind that customer satisfaction helps business to grow.
