Papaye recreational facility awaits Ghanaians for pleasure and leisure
Papaye Group, the number one fast food company in the country have inaugurated its state-of-the-art eco-tourism facility called the Papaye Recreational Village in a serene environment at Konkonuru in the Eastern Region.
The facility includes a garden of medicinal plants, friendly animals, children’s play grounds, sporting complex and a restaurant that serves both local and continental dishes.
Consequently, it has rare plants and tree species, unique landscape architecture, beautiful gardening which brings to bear good health, an ambiance of relieving stress and enhances also physical and mental wellbeing of the human body.
At the inauguration ceremony, the Executive Chairman of Papaye Group, Dr. Samir Kalmoni commended management and staff of Papaye Group for their tireless effort in ensuring that the project have come to a successful completion and thanked also all government agencies for their respective regulatory roles and the utmost trust they have placed in the Group.
“The facility which is currently opened to the public forms part of festivities in celebrating the 30th anniversary of Papye Fast Foods Limited”, he said and explained that they gesture gives him the opportunity to congratulate the Group for their immense commitment and work over the past 20 years towards the construction of the eco-tourism facility.
The Executive Chairman said the facility is one of the largest eco-parks in the West African sub-region comprising green environment with natural ecosystems that attracts people of all walks of life.
According to him, the vision of the Group is to create also a cultural space at the facility to add value to the country’s heritage to support the socio-economic development of the country particularly in the arts and culture space.
“Papaye Group is calling on the general public to take advantage of the cutting edge recreation facilities as part of their merrymaking activities to make their Christmas festivity enjoyable,” he added.
In an address, the Group’s Chief Executive, Mr. Divine Kwadwo Asiedu urged families, individuals, corporate and religious bodies to visit the facility during leisure times and holidays and pointed out that the gesture helps in taking away stress as well as enhancing the health and the wellbeing of the citizenry.
According to him, the facility’s green environment and its serene nature creates an atmosphere of uniqueness thus families and individuals among others must place it on their leisure calendar for a change in lifestyle.
