In fulfillment of his election promises to ensure his people have access to quality healthcare, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kumbugu Constituency in the Northern Region; Hon Professor Hamza Adam made a big intervention in primary healthcare with a provision of ultramodern health facility for the people of Tibung Community.
With the commissioning of healthcare facilities in the hard-to-reach Tibung community areas of Kumbugu Constituency, there seems to be a new lease of life for the residents.
The Commissioning of the Health facility which focuses on maternity services to the hard-to-reach Tibung community was no mere joke.
The facility which proved to be the only health centre for the entire Tibung and its environs has inadequate infrastructure thereby hindering the effective delivery of health care services.
This,, therefore prompted the leadership of the community to put up a maternity ward to complement the existing facilities, but their efforts could not fully materialize as a result of resource constraints.
The attention of the MP, Professor Hamza Adam was drawn to the structure and the need to step in and complete it for them, so he quickly delegated his constituency executives to send a contractor to the site for work to begin towards completing the facility.

Thankfully, the lawmaker within two months after the award of the contract completed the facility for commissioned to cater for the residents of Tibung and its immediate neighbour communities.
