As part of his social intervention policy to improve upon quality education and development th eemberr of Parliament for Tain in the Bono Region, Hon Sulemana Adama has supported103 students from the constituency in various tertiary institutions to pay their school fees.

The students who are compromised of fresh, continuous and masters students were all given fees through the MP’s share of the Common Fund and the GETFund to help reduce the burden of parents.

Hon Adama has released GH¢157,000.00 as grants to support brilliant but needy tertiary students from the Tain constituency.

According to the young and vibrant lawmaker, good and quality education has been his number one priority and that it take education to bring the needed development.

He told EXPRESSNEWSGHANA via telephone that, he is committed to ensuring that every young citizen of Tain attain the level of education he or she desire.

He added that, he would continue to support the youth to acquire the best of education to improve their socio-economic well-being.

Hon Adama however advised the students, especially the beneficiaries to remain resolute and focus on their studies so as to acquire the needed skills that would propel them into the global job market.

The MP who is a member of the Communication Committee of Parliament said in the face of all the economic hardship, is still committed to doing what he stands and is known for; serving his constituency.

He again, also called on other stakeholders and actors in education to continue doing their best to ensure that quality education is given to every school going person in the constituency.

The Tain constituency is an agrarian constituency, most of the constituents are peasant farmers and petty traders.
This therefore made it impossible for most parents to cater for their children up to the tertiary institution level.
Some of the students and their parents expressed gratitude to the MP for big intervention.
