MP for Bawku Central Condemns attacks on Security officers
The Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Hon Mahama Ayariga has condemned recent attack on security officers in the Bawku Municipality.
According to the MP, three officers of the Ghana Immigration Services were short at by unknown assailants, when they were in their private vehicle to buy food on Monday April 3, 2023 short at
The MP in a statement said, one of the officers died as a result of the gun shots and two others are in critical condition and are responding to treatment at Bawku and Tamale Hospitals respectively.
Hon Ayariga however charged the security services to double their operation in the Municipality to apprehend the perpetrators and to bring peace into Bawku.
He further expressed his sympathy to the deases family and wish the two injured officers a speedy recovery.
