MP for Krachi West Optimistic for Landslide Victory for NDC and Mahama
The Member of Parliament for Krachi West, Hon Helen Adjoa Ntoso, has vowed to continue to work hard to retain the Parliamentary seat and as well ensure a landslide electoral victory for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 general elections.
According to her, she remained resolute despite being challenged at the party’s internal primaries slated for May 13, 2023.
Hon Helen Ntoso who is currently Ranking of the Gender and Children Committee and a member of the Defence and Interior Committee of Parliament said this after she was cleared by the party Vetting Committee on Monday, April 3, 2023.
She told her teeming supporters and party faithful, she would not be distracted by any person and that she remained focused, and resolute “in ensuring a landslide victory for our Presumptive Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama and myself during the May 13, 2023 primaries and on December 7, 2024, General Elections.”
The female lawmaker is number two on the ballot paper which she urged delegates to, “Look out for Number 2 on the ballot paper even as you vote the winning team into victory.”
Hon Helen Ntoso won the 2020 election with 12,068 votes representing 51.05 percent to beat Justice Amankwa Mensah of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who managed to obtain 11,572 representing 48.95 percent.
This, she said she is ready to once again wrestle the seat and retain it for the NDC party going into the 2024 general elections and charged the party faithful and sympathizers to rally behind her.
Hon Helen Ntoso is being contested by three other persons at the primaries to lead the NDC as a candidate to the general election but she expressed optimistic to retain the parliamentary seat for the National Democratic Congress in the 2024 general election.
She added that she would continue to work to the admiration of the constituents and is poised to deliver more that would grant her the chance to retain the seat for her party.
