The Ho West lawmaker Hon. Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah who doubles as the Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency has presented hundreds of bags cements, packs of roofing sheets and streetlights towards the rehabilitation of the Amedzofe Market Square as part of preparations towards the funeral of the late Okusie Akyem Foli V, Chief of Amedzofe and Senior Divisional Chief of Avatime Traditional Area.

This follows a request made to him by Chiefs and Elders from Amedzofe and the Amedzofe Development Association to assist with the aforementioned items towards a successful burial of their late Chief.

In presenting the items on behalf of the MP, Mr. Adom Worlasi said he believes that this contribution from Hon. Bedzrah will go a long way to help prepare the grounds for a successful funeral rite of the late Okusie Akyem Foli V. He also assured the Chiefs and Elders of Amedzofe to freely call on the office of the MP for support whenever the need arises.

Receiving the items, Okusie Dzame and Okusie Kokor were full of joy as they thanked Hon Bedzrah for coming to their aid at the time they needed this assistance the most. They commended the MP for his kindness and contributions.

While recounting the relationship between the MP and the late ‘Okusie’, Okusie Dzame was so delighted to see the youth gathering almost immediately to put the items to use in readiness for the ceremony this weekend.

Among the delegation that presented the items were the constituency treasurer Ms. Mercy Kumah, the constituency communication officer Mr. Robert Ameh and branch executives of the National Democratic Congress
