It has been a week since the great NDC concluded its reorganization by electing the flagbearer and parliamentary candidates across the country. The process has been long and tortuous with its accompanying ups and downs.

Now that the dust has settled, I would like to, again thank all comrades for being part of the process from the branch level elections all through to that of the flagbearer. Of particular mention are our constituency executive body, members of the constituency elections committee, the electoral commission, my three Comrades Mr. Samuel K. Danku, Lawyer Eric Delanyo Alifo, Mr. Edwin K. Addae and their team members not forgetting Team EKB and Friends of EKB

Eight days of celebrating our victory have been eventful, and I think we have all had enough. Let us reserve our energies for the bigger celebration in 2024 when our party would have taken over the reins of power.

Having put the elections behind us, it is time we all put our shoulders to the wheel in the supreme interest of the National Democratic Congress. I appeal to every tom, dick and harry of the NDC fraternity in the Ho West constituency that the ultimate is to win the 2024 elections as a party and also take full control of both the executive and legislative arms of government.

Putting our personal parochial interests aside at this point is a sine qua non for the real victory that we all yearn for. I, therefore, call on all comrades that we put on our respective party girdles for the real battle.

We cannot afford to go into the 2024 elections with a divided front as a party. I am confident that we shall live up to the bill as we have always done by rallying around the Big umbrella for victory.

Ghana needs the NDC, and the NDC needs power to govern the country.

Our umbrella is big enough to contain all of us, so let us pull together towards the ultimate, which is power.
