As part of effort to keep it’s members healthy towards the 2924 general election, the Krachi West Constituency chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has provided free medical screening for it’s members after the party successful primaries on May 13, 2023.

The exercise which was spearheaded by the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Constituency, Hon Helen Adjoa Ntoso preceded with a health walk.

A medical team from.the Krachi West District screened the NDC members and some residents of various ailments.

Members were screened on Blood Pressure, Rapid Diagnostic Tests for Malaria, Blood Glucose checks for Diabetes, General medical consultation and subsequent referrals to hospital for those with complicated issues.

The MP, Hon Helen Ntoso and some constituency executives who took turns to address a mammoth rally after the walk , charged the NDC supporters to work hard in their various branches to ensure a landslide victory for the party in 2024.

In a post on her Facebook after the walk, the MP said, “yesterday, we held a mammoth health walk in my beloved constituency to thank God Almighty and all party faithfuls for a successful election.

“The walk was also intended to keep fit and create a strong awareness about our party’s preparedness to wrestle power from this inept government which has brought untold hardships onto the Ghanaian people.

“Subsequently, we climaxed the walk with a well patronized free medical screening which was held at the forecourt of the Old Chief’s Palace at Kantankofore, in collaboration with members of the Concerned NDC Health Team.

“The services rendered included Blood Pressure checks, Rapid Diagnostic Tests for Malaria, Blood Glucose checks for Diabetes, General medical consultation and subsequent referred,” Hon Ntoso said on her Facebook feed monitored by EXPRESSNEWSGHANA.
