Arrest the Killers of Mandela Zanu -Akatsi South MP Charges Police
The Member of Parliament for Akatsi South, Hon Bernard Ahiafor has called on the security agencies in the Constituency to conduct a swift and thorough investigation and apprehend person (s) behind the killing of a young man, Mandela Zanu in Akatsi South municipality in the early hours of Tuesday, June 20,2023.
A young man identified as Mandela Zanu was shot and killed in the late hours of Tueaday June 20, on his way home from work.
The assalant are yet to be identified and apprehend as police still on investigation.
However, in a statement Hon Ahiafor condemned the shooting incident and called on the police to swiftly conduct investigation and arrest the perpetrators.
He also called on the residents to remained calm and united and volunteer information to the police to get the culprits to face the law.
“As the Member of Parliament for the Akatsi South Constituency, I categorically
condemn this crime and request from the general public to volunteer
information and assist the Security Agencies to arrest the criminals.
“I know that this is a difficult time for everyone especially the family and friends but we must remain united in the face of this tragedy and work together towards
the arrest of the Perpetrators of the crime.
“I am confident that the Municipal Security Committee led by the Municipal Chief
Executive and the Municipal Police Commander will call for immediate investigation into this matter with urgency leading to the arrest of the criminals
and bring them to book and Let justice prevail for our dear brother Mandela.
“The MP also extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and friends of the slain Mandela Zanu,”he said.

OFFICE OF THE MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT AKATSI SOUTH CONSTITUENCY HON. BERNARD AHIAFOR REACTS TO THE SHOOTING OF MANDELA ZANU.
I am saddened by the perpetration of crimes in our communities in these recent times.
Yesterday, June 20, at 12midnight; Belgium time, I had a sudden call from
the Constituency Secretary Mr Daniel Dagba, of a shooting incident that occurred in my beloved constituency.
Brother Mandela Zanu, a young entrepreneur who is a native of Akuave whilst on his way from work, was shot by some unidentified person(s).
This senseless
act of violence has shaken our community to its core.
As the Member of Parliament for the Akatsi South Constituency, I categorically condemn this crime and request from the general public to volunteer
information and assist the Security Agencies to arrest the criminals..
I know that this is a difficult time for everyone espec the family and friends but we must remain united in the face of this tragedy and work together towards
the arrest of the Perpetrators of the crime.
I am confident that the Municipal Security Committee led by the Municipal Chief
The executive and the Municipal Police Commander will call for immediate investigation into this matter with urgency leading to the arrest of the criminals
and bring them to book and Let justice prevail for our dear brother Mandela.
