Shortage of T-Rolls hit Parliament- MPs laments
Shortage of Toilet rolls has hit Ghana’s parliament thereby making the sanitary condition very bad.
Members of Parliament (MPs), staff and visiting guest resorts to use of personal face tissues ( if any) upon visit to the Washrooms.
The MP for Krachi West, Hon Helen Adjoa Ntoso, raised the issue of shortage of toilet rolls in the female washrooms, saying that it made MPs visitingg the place uncomfortable.
She the concerns on the floor of parliament on Friday, June 30, 2023, during the presentation of Business statement

The female lawmaker emphasised the need for immediate action to address the issue, stating that it is the responsibility of Parliament to ensure the availability of basic amenities like toilet rolls.
She lamented the persistent absence of toilet rolls in the washrooms.
“Mr Speaker, if you go to the washroom, there are no toilet rolls since yesterday. There are no toilet rolls in the washroom, so I need to draw the attention of the House,” Hon Ntoso expressed her concern.
