Parliament has penciled down the Anti-Gay Bill to be taken Tomorrow and the sponsors are urging the House to speed up the process in the passage of same.

Speaking to EXPRESSNEWSGHANA, Hon Emmanuel Kwesi Bedzrah, a member of the sponsors of the Bill said the delay in the passage of the Bill has occasioned the public not to take Parliament seriously.

He contended that the Bill was essential to the generality of Ghanaians and expected the House to pass it, but the House has gone mute on it and the reason is best known to the leadership of the House.

He urged the House to expedite action on the bill.

Hon Bedzrah also allayed the fears and stressed that the Bill will cure a lot of public acts including forbidding mob attacks on suspects.

He expressed confidence that the bill will be passed into law before parliament goes on recess.
