Ahmed Osuman Writes: Absence Of Maturity On The Part Of Some NPP Presidential Aspirants
It is disheartening, sordid, shameful, and disappointing the strategies being adopted or deployed by some of the party’s aspirants to win the souls and the hearts of the delegates.
The New Patriotic Party, an elitist, liberal, and democratic group will to injure, hurt, deface, destroy, harm, and batter itself with the actions or strategies of some of the aspirants.
Just an internal party contest or a family-friendly political match is being used to attack or injure each other.Shameful.
Some of the aspirants have no business to lead the NPP.
Their style is very demeaning and destructive to the unity of the party.
Childishly attacking some targeted candidates.
Naively using unprintable words against each other and some of them have no shame attacking the policies and programs of the Government they have served before in the public.
They are not smart to do that in a conclave.
They are foolishly arming our opponents to use as a tool to slice any chosen candidate.
With such ‘senseless’ “campaigning, you want to break the conventional eight years cycle.
This is a joke.
I am surprised the party is mute on this illiterate and mentally deranged campaigning.
This style is alien to the principles, traditions, and values of our great party.
President Akufo Addo campaigned on the successes of President Kufour, even though President Kufour didn’t achieve his entire vision for the country at the time.
It is disgusting to hear or see aspirants on the ticket of the party wickedly attacking and embarrassing the Government and by extension the President. Sad!.
These aspirants should quickly change their strategies, or else they will be bruised by the delegates come the Election Day or period.
You campaign and the opposition or the opponents of your party applaud you.
What it means is that you cannot lead your party.
The delegates of your party will dustbin your message and vote against you.
The campaigns of some of these aspirants have failed in toto. They should thrown in their dirty towels.
Some of them instead of launching their campaigns before delegates, they rather go and organize unnecessary media buzz as if they have received the nod to represent the party in a national election.
Disgracefully, attacking your party and government, leaving your opponents who had once ruled the government.
If you campaign on insults, hatred, lies, arrogance, and personal attacks, you will lose.
Some of the aspirants also had toxic spokepersons who are de-attracting the votes of their bosses instead of going the opposite.
Do their bosses acknowledge it, well, time will tell.
We the New Patriotic Party delegates are not ‘fools’.
We shall vote according to our conscience, nothing more, nothing less.
We are tired of arrogant and insulting aspirants.
God bless our nation, Ghana
God bless the New Patriotic Party
God bless the NPP Delegates
