Cecilia Dapaah Cash Scandal Will Worsen Ghana’s Corruption Perception Index- APNAC Chair
Chairman of the Ghana Chapter of the Africa Parliamentarian Network Against Corruption (APNAC), Hon Emmanuel Kwesi Bedzrah has called on the Office of Special Prosecutor(OSP) to do a thorough investigation into the former Sanitation Minister, Cecilia Dapaah cash saga to help redeem the sinking image of the country.
According to him, the case has the potential of worsening Ghana’s current portfolio on the global corruption Perception Index if no proper investigation is done and the culprit gets sanctioned.
Mr Bedzrah made this in a press statement issued on behalf of the Ghana Chapter of APNAC and copied to EXPRESSNEWSGHANA , in Accra over the weekend.
*The outcome of this investigation would not only help redeem our sinking image as African politicians, but will also restore hope in our fourth republic as a country.

“Ghana as a country has witnessed a decline on the global Corruption Perception Index for some time now, and one would have thought that our actions as politicians would have been geared towards reversing the downward trend,”the APNAC local Chairman said.
