Over 3,870 BECE Candidates in Ledzokuku Receives MP Free Maths Sets for 2023 Examination
In a bid to give a significant boost to the academic performance of basic edication in his constituency, the Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, Hon Benjamin Narteh Ayiku, has donated over 3870 mathematical sets to all candidates partaking the 2023 Basic Edication Certificate Examination BECE).
The donation is part of the MP policy to improve the standard of education in shaping the future of school children.
The supply of the Maths Sets, he said would among other things help to reduce the burden of parents and as well ensure that students in the Ledzokuku constituency have the requisite examination writing tools to enable them to have a smooth examination.
A total of 3,873 candidates from 26 public schools and 112 private schools within the Ledzokuku Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.

While presenting the mathematical sets, the MP charged the candidates to remain focused on their books and give up their best during the exams.
Earlier, Hon Ben Ayiku expressed his commitment to support education in the Ledzokuku constituency, stating, “It is paramount that we invest in the education of our future leaders. By providing these mathematical sets, we hope to alleviate the financial strain on these candidates and enhance their chances of success in the exams.”
The gesture has been well-received by parents and guardians throughout the constituency, who have applauded the MP’s dedication and forward-thinking approach to educational support. Many have expressed their gratitude, noting that the initiative will undoubtedly play a crucial role in the preparation and overall performance of the BECE candidates.
