Police to Meet Minority Tomorrow to Plan for Anti-Bank of Ghana Governor Protest
The Greater Accra Regional Police Command would tomorrow, Wednesday, August 23, 2023, meet with members of the Minority Caucus in Parliament to plan for the anti-Bank of Ghana Governor, protest next week.
The police in a letter to the Minority signed by Deputy Regional Commander, DCOP Henry Kodjo Otoo, and sighted by EXPRESSNEWSGHANA invited the Minority for a crunch meeting to make plans and modalities for the demonstrating.
The Minority had earlier served notices to the police of its intended demonstration to press on the Governor of Bank of Ghana, Dr Ernest Addison for allegedly dolling out over US$ 250 million for a New Head Office at the time Ghanaians are going under hardship economy.
“The command wishes to invite you for a meeting to deliberate on modalities pertaining to your intended protest,” the police letter partly read.
