Rev Wengam on Apostolic Visit to Volta South Assemblies of God
The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev Dr Stephen Wengam and his wife, Lady(Mrs) Monica Wengam , who is also National President of Ministers Wives Association of the Church , have had fellowship at Sogakope with pastors , retired ministers and spouses as well as widows of pastors.
As part of his apostolic visit to the Volta South Region of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev Dr Wengam led them to pray for repentance on behalf of the church,special needs of pastors , local churches and members,church growth,fufllfilment of the Great Commission , local church projects , among others.
The General Superintendent concluded with a powerful sermon titled,”How to Stay Pure by not Sharing in the Sins of Others.”
Lady Mrs Wengam presented gifts to widows of pastors, retired ministers and spouses and wives of pastors.
Widows of pastors and wives of retired ministers received a cloth each and an undisclosed amount of money.Retired ministers were also given cash gifts while every pastor’s wife received a piece of cloth.This is a private initiative of the wife of the General Superintendent.
The Volta Regional Council of Assemblies of God, Ghana, led by the Regional Superintendent Rev Stephen Sakyi, presented an award of honour and appreciation to Lady(Mrs) Monica Wengam .
