Embattled #Fix the Country lead campaigner, Oliver Barker-Vormawor has returned to the demonstration site at the 37 lorry station, where he was arrested together with 22 others on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

They were arrested on the first day of the three-day demotration dubbed,”#Ocuppy JulorbiHouse” to the Jubilee House to express their frustration over the hardship economy.

Leaders of the demonstrators and some of their members who converged at the 37 lorry station to march to the Jubilee House in protest were picked by police.

Some Journalists from the BBC and Metro TV were also picked by the police for filming the arrest.

The over 22 protestors were detained in cells of different police stations in the capital city of Accra.

They were subsequently released late in the night after the incident attracted widespread condemnation by citizens and human rights organizations across the world.

However, on Friday morning, September 22,  Oliver returned to the protest converging site for the day 2, event.

He writes on his Facebook, “I just set off from my house for day 2 of #OccupyJulorbiHouse

“We are meeting at 37 Trotro Station. I don’t know what the police plan to do. But I have packed my jail pack. 1 boxer shorts, 1 towel, 1 Dettol, 1 mosquito repellent.

May posterity remember the price of their freedom,” he added.
