Panic Grips Gaza as Israel Tells 1.1 Million to Leave the North
Frightened Palestinians in northern Gaza packed belongings and left their homes after Israel demanded that more than a million civilians move south as Israeli troops mass on the border.
The U.N. warned that the forced relocation would have “devastating humanitarian consequences.”
