The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev Dr Stephen Wengam has paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Kumbungu Traditional Area in the Northern Region , Kumbung Naa Yiri II 

The purpose was to thank Naa Yiri for the support the Assemblies of God continues to enjoy from him, discuss matters of national importance and to broker a deal to resolve the litigation over the portion of school land.
Reports say the meeting was fruitful .
Rev Dr Wengam was in Kumbung Naa’s Palace during a working visit to the Northern Region to attend the 63rd Graduation of Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, North Campus.
He was accompanied by the Principal, Rev Dr Panka, the Academic Dean, Rev Kwotuah, the Registrar who is also the North East Regional Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Rev Jonathan Immorrow, Rev Rtd Alhassan and Rev Mrs Gladys Abu Baba, the Women’s Ministry National Director of Assemblies of God.
