Hon Stephen Pambiin Jalulah, Member of Parliament for Pru West and Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways has given a thumbs up to the governing New Patriotic Party ( NPP) for development projects in the constituency.

He challenged the opposition National
Democratic Congress (NDC) to come out with data or actual development projects that it initiated and completed in the Pru West during its years in office.

Mr Jalula was emphatic that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) led Administration had recorded greater achievements in the Pru West Constituency which is also now a District than the eight-year government of the NDC.

In an interview with journalists, in Parliament after taking his turn on the Budget debate Mr. Jalula said for seven years, the Akufo-Addo government had completed more social intervention development programs and projects in the constituency.

The MP sought to react to allegations by the Minority caucus that the NPP had not achieved anything within the seven administrations from 2017 to 2023.

Debating the 2014 Budget Statement and Economic Policy presented to Parliament by the Finance Minister, the Minority accused the Akufo-Adoo-led government of neglecting Ghanaians.

But the MP who is also the immediate former District Chief Executive listed a number of developmental projects and programs that the government had undertaken from the time he was the DCE, and now MP.

He said for the first time, the trunk road from Prang to Kintampo has been tackled, while other rural communities feeder roads within the district are equally been constructed.

Similarly, he mentioned free Senior High Schools, One- District One -Factory among other intervention projects, emphasizing that within these periods, a significant number of communities have been hooked onto the national grid.
