MP for Tolon Makes Big Intervention, Pays fees for Over 500 Tertiary Students
The First Deputy Majority Whip of Parliament and MP for the Tolon Constituency in the Northern Region, Hon Habib Iddrisu, has paid school fees worth GH600,000 for over 500 brilliant but needy tertiary students.
The payment covers the students 2023/2024 academic year school fees.
The support which formed part of the MP “Soyalana Educational and Endowment Fund” aimed at helping the brilliant but needy tertiary students in the Tolon constituency to realized their dreams.
So far over a thousand students have benefited from the Fund since it’s inception in 2021.
At a short but impressive ceremony in the Tolon constituency, Habib Iddrisu, noted that the Soyalana Educational and Endowment Fund bridges the gap between the poor and rich in the constituency and provides the poor with an opportunity to get access to education to pursue their dreams.
He encouraged the beneficiaries to ensure that they make good use of the opportunity and work hard to graduate successfully for the betterment of their families and the constituency.
The beneficiaries took turns to express their profound gratitude to the MP and Managers of the Soyalana Educational and Endowment Fund for their intervention.
The students however, assured the MP they would use the knowledge and skills acquired to impact the constituency positively.
