Deputy Minority Leader Donates Buses to Boost Education in Constituency
As part of his social intervention policies, the Deputy Minority Leader and MP for Ellembelle, Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah, has donated buses to several basic schools in his constituency.
This donation, the first of its kind, is part of the MP’s “Ellembelle School Bus” initiative, aimed at improving access to education and enhancing its quality.
The first phase of the Ellembelle School Bus Initiative was launched in the Nyamebekyere electoral area, benefiting underprivileged areas within the Ellembelle District. Previously, students from remote areas in Nyamebekyere had to endure long treks to the nearest schools. With this initiative, students will now be transported to their schools daily at no cost, ensuring they arrive on time and ready to learn.
During the handover ceremony at Nyamebekyere Basic Schools, the Deputy Minority Leader emphasized that education is a cornerstone of development, and he is committed to enhancing the quality of education in the district.
Hon. Kofi-Buah expressed confidence that this initiative would significantly improve student punctuality, academic performance, and the overall learning environment.
The legislator urged students to take their education seriously, highlighting it as the best gift in life. He also commended the schools for their good results in previous academic years, reinforcing his commitment to supporting educational improvements across the constituency.
School authorities, students, and residents of the Nyamebekyere electoral area praised the MP for fulfilling his promise, assuring that they will continue to strive for excellence in academic performance.
