The Member of Parliament for Yunyoo in the North East Region, Oscar Liwaal, has endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Energy Sector Minister Mathew Opoku-Prempeh as the best ticket to break the 8-year jinx. He believes this pair is not only beneficial for the party but also advantageous for the country as a whole.

Liwaal highlighted that the Akufo-Addo administration has introduced policies and programs aimed at improving the living standards of the masses. He asserted that Ghanaians have accepted the Bawumia-Opoku-Prempeh ticket as the ideal team for the country’s leadership.

He urged Ghanaians to be vigilant and critically assess any NDC campaign messages that seek to undermine the credibility of the Akufo-Addo administration.

Liwaal also called on members of the NPP in the Yunyoo Constituency and the entire North East Region to work diligently to win more seats in Parliament.

He emphasized the importance of a majority in Parliament to facilitate the passage of beneficial policies.

Expressing gratitude to his constituents for their support in the 2020 elections, Liwaal urged them to continue their support in the upcoming December 7, 2024 elections to further the development projects and policies he initiated.

“The NPP currently holds four out of six parliamentary seats in the region, but with hard work and commitment, we can win more seats to secure a majority in Parliament,” Liwaal said.

He called for unity and togetherness within the party, advising members to avoid activities that could harm the party’s chances in the elections.

Liwaal warned against voting for the NDC if Ghanaians wish to continue benefiting from the free SHS policy, which he claimed the NDC intends to abolish if they come to power.

He further appealed to Ghanaians to endorse the Bawumia-Opoku-Prempeh ticket by voting for them in large numbers on December 7.
