MP for North Dayi Supports Over 700 BECE Candidates with GHS25.00 Each for Exams Breakfast
As part of her social intervention support for education, the Member of Parliament for North Dayi in the Volta Region, Jocelyn Tetteh, has provided financial support to 783 candidates for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). Each candidate received GHS25.00 for breakfast for the five-day exam period.
This initiative is part of the MP’s “Building Tomorrow’s Leaders Today” empowerment program for her constituents.
Hon. Jocelyn Tetteh toured the three BECE centers in her constituency, distributing GHS25.00 to each candidate for the week.
In her message, she acknowledged the socioeconomic challenges faced by the candidates and expressed her support to ensure they have breakfast before their exams.
She also challenged them to achieve good grades, promising further support with their SHS prospectus.
In addition to the candidates, each invigilator received GHS 100, and teachers from the participating schools received support as motivation for their commitment to serving the pupils.
Hon. Jocelyn Tetteh assured her constituents of her continued commitment to educational activities in North Dayi Constituency.
The candidates, invigilators, and teachers expressed their gratitude for the MP’s supportive and benevolent gesture, wishing her well in all her endeavours.
