I Don’t Have any Interest in the Gonjaland Chieftaincy Affairs- Abu Jinapor
Damongo Constituency MP and Lands and Natural Resources Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor, has denied media reports of his ban from entering palaces in Gonjaland by the Overlord, Yagbonwura Bi-kunuto Jewu Soale.
In a statement on July 21, Jinapor described the reports as “false allegations and untruths.”
He clarified that his focus is on contributing to Ghana’s and Damongo’s development, not interfering in the kingdom’s traditional authority.
“I have no interest in Damongo chieftaincy affairs,” he emphasized. “As a Gonja Prince, I hold the chieftaincy institution and all chiefs in high regard, including the Overlord of Gonjaland.”
Jinapor’s statement aimed to set the record straight and dispel any misconceptions about his involvement in Gonjaland’s chieftaincy matters.
