Rev Wengam Visits Accra East and South Western Regions of Assemblies of God Ghana
The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev Stephen Wengam, has continued his second apostolic tour of the 24 administrative regions of the church with visits to Greater Accra East and Western South.
He first met with pastors and their spouses, retired ministers and spouses, and widows of deceased pastors at Cedar Mountain Chapel of Assemblies of God, Ghana at East Legon.
Rev Wengam led three hours of prayer followed by renewal of wedding vows by married couples. He exhorted the gathering on the topic, “How to Rescue the Captives of Satan into Christ’s Marvelous Light. “
Rev Wengam stressed the need to prioritise soul winning and aggressive church planting.
The wife of the General Superintendent, Lady Mrs Monica Wengam , who is also the National President of the Ministers’ Wives Association, presented gifts to retirees and their wives, widows of deceased pastors and wives of serving ministers. Each retiree and wife and widow received an undisclosed amount of money. In addition, the wives of retirees and widows, and wives of serving pastors were given a piece of cloth each.
The Greater Accra East Regional Superintendent, Rev Andrews Nelson Awintia, was full of praise for the generous gesture of Rev and Mrs Wengam . He encouraged all pastors of Assemblies of God, Ghana to emulate the “godly example” of their General Superintendent.
The wife of the Regional Superintendent, Mrs Rita Awintia, presented a gift to Lady Mrs Wengam on behalf of the pastors’ wives.
The main feature of Rev Wengam’s apostolic visit to the South Western Region was a meeting with retired ministers and their spouses, widows of deceased pastors, and pastors and their spouses at the Word of Life Family Church. As usual, Rev Wengam led a three-hour prayer session, after which married couples renewed their wedding vows.

The Regional Superintendent, Rev Noble Brister commended Rev and Mrs Wengam for the novel apostolic visits.
