QNET, a renowned lifestyle and wellness-focused direct selling company, has unveiled its “QNET against Scams” campaign in Ghana.

The six-month intensive campaign initiative aims to educate the public and increase media awareness about fraudulent activities misusing the QNET brand.

The campaign will leverage various channels, including television, radio, online news portals, social media, print media, and billboards across Ghana.

Speaking at the Media Launching in Accra on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, Ms. Ramya Chandrasekaran, Chief Communications Officer for the QI Group, QNET’s parent company, said despite the company ongoing efforts, misconceptions about QNET persist in Ghana.

According to her, “Unauthorized individuals have exploited our brand name for illegal activities, deceiving people with false promises of jobs or travel opportunities abroad. Our campaign aims to aggressively combat this issue through public education.”

Ms. Chandrasekaran outlined the campaign’s primary objectives to include raise public awareness about QNET’s legitimate business operations, educate individuals on identifying and avoiding scams that misrepresent QNET, collaborate with law enforcement and government agencies to prosecute offenders and to reinforce QNET’s commitment to transparency and ethical business practices.

“QNET is about empowerment, not exploitation! And we are fighting back against these scams,” she added.
