The 31st Biennial General Council meeting of Assemblies of God , Ghana has ended at the CK Tendam University of Applied Science in Navrongo.

The theme was : “ Send the Light for Growth and Expansion.”
The Deputy Minister of Railways, Mr Asante Boateng , who was the Special Guest of Honour, asked Christian politicians to use their positions “ to reach the lost and represent Christ well.”
Mr Asante- Boateng is a member of North Kaneshie Assemblies of God in Accra.

The Global Chairman of World Assemblies of God Fellowship and General Superintendent of Singapore Assemblies of God, Rev Dominic Yeo , preached on the need “to reseek the experience of the Pentecostal fire.” This, he said, is critical if the church members are to be empowered to send the light of the Gospel to spiritually deprived communities.

The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev Stephen Wengam charged pastors and the delegates to use every means possible to “ win the lost and plant more churches.”
Rev Wengam , who is also the Vice Chairman of Africa Assemblies of God Alliance, led the Executive Presbytery to present “Diligent Global Leadership Award “ to Rev Yeo for championing the cause of global missions.
The event was christened: “ Cultural Diversity Night and Memorial Service in honour of deceased pastors of Assemblies of God, Ghana.
