The Global Vice Chairman of Assemblies of God Fellowship Rev Doug Clay is in Accra for the executive meeting of the Fellowship.

The meeting will prepare for the Congress of the Global Assemblies of God Fellowship to be hosted by Ghana in 2026. Ghana is the first country in Africa to be honoured as host of the prestigious Congress of the umbrella body of all Assemblies of God churches in the world.

Rev Clay, who is also the General Superintendent of US Assemblies of God , was received by the Greater Accra West Regional Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev Michael Ayesu , on behalf of the General Superintendent Rev Stephen Wengam.
The executive meeting of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship will end on Thursday, 12th September, 2024 .
It will be preceded by a press conference by the Global Chairman of Assemblies of God Fellowship, Rev Dominic Yeo . He is expected to throw more light on the World Congress of Assemblies of God Fellowship scheduled for 2026.
Ghana is the first country in Africa to be chosen to host the Congress.
