2024 Election: Francis Sosu Pledges to Retain Madina Seat for NDC, Calls for Electoral Integrity

Hon Francis Xavier Sosu, the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the Madina Constituency, has vowed to retain his seat for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming 2024 elections.

Addressing a large gathering of enthusiastic party supporters after successfully filing his nomination at the Electoral Commission (EC) office in Madina, Sosu issued a strong call for a forensic audit of the voters’ register to ensure the integrity of the electoral process.

He cautioned the EC to avoid any actions that could undermine the credibility of the election, and urged the electoral body to conduct a thorough review of the voter roll.

“The integrity of the electoral process is paramount. We cannot allow any lapses that could disenfranchise voters or manipulate outcomes,” Sosu stated.

Sosu’s supporters, who welcomed him with cheers and chants, are determined to increase his winning margin and ensure an NDC victory in both the parliamentary and presidential races in Madina.
