Life for Relief and Development, a United States-based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), has donated medical supplies and equipment to the GLOSAM Health Centre in the Kade District of the Eastern Region.

With support from its international donors, the NGO made the donation as part of its ongoing program to bring quality healthcare to underprivileged and vulnerable residents in Kade and surrounding areas.

The donated items include delivery beds, hospital beds, bedside lockers, disposable items, and various medical consumables.

During the presentation ceremony at GLOSAM Hospital, Alhaji Farouk Ibrahim, the Country Director of Life for Relief and Development, expressed the organization’s satisfaction in raising the necessary funds to fulfill promises made in response to the requests of local residents and the hospital.

He assured that the organization would continue to support the hospital in providing quality healthcare services, resources permitting.

Sahabi Ibn-Yunus, the Public Relations Officer of the organization, called for the upgrading of the health center to better serve the thousands of people in the area.

He also encouraged the beneficiaries to take proper care of the donated equipment to ensure they are used for their intended purpose.

The donation was officially received by David Quesi, the Kade Municipal Directorate Accountant, on behalf of the Director General of the Ghana Health Service.

He urged the hospital management to maintain the equipment properly to ensure they continue to serve their purpose effectively.

Dr. Samuel Godwin Danso, the Managing Director of GLOSAM Hospital, expressed appreciation on behalf of the hospital’s management and staff for the generous donation.

He emphasized that the donation would significantly benefit the population of over 10,000 people in Kade and its surrounding areas.
