Residents of Bolgatanga Central demand Unconditional apology from TV3 over Community Manifesto
Residents of Bolgatanga Central constituency are demanding an apology from TV3 after the station’s community manifesto program was marred by organizational issues and lack of communication.
The program, which was supposed to feature Hon. Isaac Adongo, Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, was advertised to take place between 6 am and 10 am, but TV3 failed to show up on time and didn’t notify the constituents of any changes.
The residents claim that TV3 consistently neglected to adhere to the agreed-upon schedule, repeatedly deferring the event without apologizing for the inconvenience.
The program was rescheduled multiple times, and TV3 failed to appear at the scheduled times, causing significant inconvenience.
The residents are demanding a sincere and unconditional apology from TV3 for the lack of respect shown to them.
They feel disrespected by TV3’s lack of organization and professionalism, particularly given the station’s esteemed reputation.
Hon. Adongo is committed to engaging with his constituents and upholding transparency and accountability.
His decision to abstain from the debate was a direct result of TV3’s organizational shortcomings and failure to communicate appropriately, rather than a reluctance to engage with his opponent.
The residents want to set the record straight and clarify that any portrayal of Hon. Adongo as non-committal and evasive is without merit and should be disregarded.
