Mahama Engages Diplomatic Community Ahead of December 7 Elections
John Dramani Mahama, the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), met with 24 members of the diplomatic corps in Accra last Thursday to discuss pressing concerns related to Ghana’s electoral process.
The meeting, hosted by US Ambassador Virginia Palmer, served as a platform for Mahama and NDC leadership to address issues such as rising corruption and the overall health of the nation’s democracy.
Accompanied by NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary Fifi Kwetey, and Director of Elections and IT Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Mahama engaged in frank and productive discussions regarding the challenges facing Ghana.
The emphasis was placed on the critical importance of free, fair, and transparent elections.
During the meeting, Mahama outlined the NDC’s vision for a more prosperous and equitable Ghana, reiterating the party’s commitment to strengthening democratic institutions.
