Mrs. Adelaide Siaw Agyepong, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Asian African Consortium (AAC), has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Advanced Studies in Entrepreneurship by Azteca University and Cardinal Training Academy.

The prestigious accolade was conferred upon her at a ceremony held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in recognition of her significant contributions to entrepreneurship and socio-economic development.

In addition to the honorary doctorate, Mrs. Siaw Agyepong also received a Certificate in Strategic Leadership from the Swiss School of Business Research and a Certificate in Effective Communication Skills from Cardinal Training Academy.

Expressing her gratitude, Mrs. Siaw Agyepong dedicated the award to entrepreneurs and leaders striving to create positive change in their communities.

“This honor serves as a reminder to continue striving for greater impact,” she said. “I encourage all entrepreneurs and leaders to rise above challenges, innovate boldly, and contribute meaningfully to our communities and the world.”

She also thanked Azteca University, Cardinal Training Academy, and Dr. Mavis Bermudez for their recognition. “I am deeply humbled and inspired to continue pushing boundaries, empowering others, and driving socio-economic transformation,” she added.

As CEO of AAC, Mrs. Siaw Agyepong is leading a pioneering commercial rice project in Ghana, focused on economic growth, sustainability, and women’s empowerment through local rice production.

The AAC collaborates with farmers across Ghana, building commercial partnerships and transforming the rice, maize, and soya production ecosystems in the country.

Through collaborations with rice-producing countries such as the USA, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Japan, India, and the Philippines, AAC is contributing to the growth of Ghana’s agricultural sector and promoting international cooperation.

Mrs. Siaw Agyepong used the occasion to encourage others to pursue purpose-driven leadership, leaving behind a lasting legacy of positive change.
