CCLG Congratulates President-Elect John Mahama and Ghanaians for Commitment to Democracy
Climate Communications and Local Governance-Africa (CCLG-Africa) extends heartfelt congratulations to the people of Ghana for the successful conduct of their recent election.
In a statement, CCLG-Africa praised Ghana for its unwavering commitment to democratic principles, calling it a “shining example” for the rest of Africa. Signed by CCLG President Kofi Don-Agor, the statement encouraged Ghanaians to unite and support the incoming government, echoing the call for national solidarity made by Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia in his gracious concession speech.
CCLG also congratulated H.E. John Dramani Mahama on his victory as President-elect, affirming its readiness to collaborate with his administration in tackling Ghana’s critical climate and environmental challenges.
