As part of the effort to rekindle the good neighbourness with West Africa states and Ghana, President elect, John Mahama has paid courtesy call on some West Africa leaders ahead of his inauguration.

The visit will Reignite the cordial relationship and as well bring strong unity within the West Africa sub-region.

Inna write up on his Facebook page, Mahama said, “I just wrapped up an incredible visit with the Presidents of Equatorial Guinea, Guinea Bissau, and Gabon as part of my commitment to fostering strong relationships with our geographical neighbours and friends in West Africa and on the continent.

“My discussions with the various leaders reaffirmed our shared values and aspirations for progress across the continent. Our conversations touched on exploring opportunities for collaboration in trade, security, and sustainable development, ensuring that our partnerships benefit not only our nations but the people we serve.

“I will continue to work both within and outside our subregion towards a brighter, more prosperous future for our youth and the vulnerable.
