Disregard Unauthorized Ministerial Nominee Letter-Chairman Ashie Moore
Hon Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) , has publicly disassociated himself from a circulating letter purportedly calling for the submission of party nominees for appointments at the national level.
In a statement issued on December 25, 2024, Mr. Ashie Moore clarified that neither he nor the regional executive committee had been consulted or approved such a directive. He described the letter as the unilateral action of the Regional Secretary, taken without adherence to the party’s established structures.
He urged party members to disregard the letter with the seriousness it deserves. The Chairman emphasized that the President-Elect’s transition team remains focused on ensuring a smooth handover and implementing key policies within the first 120 days of the new administration.
