Mahama’s statement comes amid concerns over corruption in Ghana, with the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice recently withdrawing at least seven high-profile criminal cases against individuals with strong connections to the government.

The President called on all citizens, civil society, the media, and public officials to play their part in the fight against corruption.

“This is a defining moment in our fight against corruption. We must all play our parts… Together, we will build a Ghana that is just, transparent, and prosperous for generations to come,” he said.
