The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Ahwiaso-Bekwai, in the Western North Region, Mr. Hon Bright Asamoah Brefo, has promised to deliver development to and enhance the living standard of his constituents to justify the confidence they have reposed in him.

Spelling out his development agenda anchored on four priority areas, he pledged to vigorously tackle road infrastructure, health, education and water needs of the people of  Bibiani-Ahwiaso-Bekwei.

“Roads and health infrastructure is the bedrock of our development,” he told ExpressNewsGhana in an interview in Accra.

He said the four interventions, plus others, to be rolled out later in the course of his stewardship in Parliament, would ultimately liberate the people from poverty and uplift the face of the Constituency.

Mr. Brefo said the Bibiani Bekwei township roads are in bad shape, the traffic lights not working years now, stressing that, the Constituency is badly in need of an Islamic Senior High, health post in far-reaching communities and water supply within the Constituency.

He said as an indigene of the constituency, he is much conversant of the enormous development needed of the people and would not renege on his promise, adding that, he would work to honour the confidence repose on him on December 7, 2024.

He reiterated his commitment to serve his constituents to Parliament in order to transform the living standards of the people of Bibiani-Ahwiaso-Bekwei.

“My people chose me because they believe in me and know the work I can do. My constituents see me as someone who is development-oriented,” he remarked.

The MP said as the major component of the development agenda, health and education delivery would be extended in the area by building more health centres and schools, especially an Islamic senior high school to meet the need of the Muslims communities in the constituency.

He, however, stressed the need to do more for the people by providing more CHPS Compounds with the view to decongesting the Municipal hospital and health centres in the municipality.
